So, I put together a list of my absolute favorite FREE fonts that I believe every designer (including you!) should explore this year. These aren’t just popular—they’re powerful, versatile, and ridiculously good-looking.
1. Inter — Clean, Clear, and Made for Screens
If I had to choose one go-to font for digital design, it’s Inter. This one was built for interfaces, and it shows. It’s readable, modern, and just works everywhere.
Use it for: UI design, websites, or anywhere you want clarity

2. Clash Grotesk — Bold and Stylish
Clash Grotesk is one of those fonts that makes a statement without even trying. It has this cool balance of sharpness and confidence, perfect for designs where you want to stand out.

3. DM Serif Display — Fancy but Not Fussy
When I need to bring in a touch of elegance, I lean on DM Serif Display. It’s got those beautiful, classic curves that scream sophistication, especially in big sizes.

Pro Tip: Pair it with something simple like Poppins
4. Urbanist — Minimal, Friendly, and Versatile
Urbanist is a total gem. It feels soft but structured and works in so many situations. Whether you’re doing personal branding or building out UI mockups, this font fits in everywhere.

Comes in: 9 weights + italic. That’s flexibility right there.
5. Bebas Neue — The OG Headliner
Bebas Neue has been around, but it still hits hard. It's all caps, super clean, and made for impact. If you're designing posters or bold headlines, this is your type.

Combine it with a light sans-serif to balance it out
6. Poppins — Geometric & Approachable
I’ll be honest—Poppins is my happy place. It’s rounded, friendly, and comes in a bunch of weights. It plays well with almost everything.

7. Satoshi — New, Sleek, and a Total Vibe
Satoshi is the underdog that’s quickly rising to the top. If your style leans minimalist but modern, this font is going to be your new BFF.
Use it for: Branding kits, portfolios, packaging
My Favorite Combo: Satoshi Bold for headers, Light for body
